Former NASA Employee, Fairfax Resident Passes Away
Mr. George Levin worked for NASA for 35 years.
Mr. George Levin, 72, of Fairfax, passed away on Monday. Mr. Levin worked for NASA for 35 years, where he was awarded both the Exceptional Service Medal and the Silver Snoopy award.
Mr. Levin worked at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center Nimbus weather satellite, Pioneer-Venus, and the Hubble Space Telescope, according to SpacePolicyOnline.com, which posted an obituary for Mr. Levin.
