City of Fairfax Parks & Recreation Strategic Master Plan Meeting

You have offered your ideas, given beneficial input, and
taken pride in helping to shape our parks and our future.  Now it is time to hear the final report of
all the data gathered through the public workshops, stakeholder meetings,
survey, and online engagement.  Mark your
calendars for Thursday, October 17th at 7:00pm at Old Town Hall, and
hear the future vision, mission, and goals for the parks, recreation, trails,
open space, cultural arts, and events. 

We have made great strides to get to this point in our
Strategic Master Planning process.   We
have completed four Public Workshops, 22 Stakeholder meetings, partnered with
George Mason University to send out 2,500 community surveys, and maintained
interest in our online engagement website, www.ourparksourfuture.com.  We greatly appreciate each of you that have
been involved in this process and have taken an interest in helping us make the
City of Fairfax’s park system even better. 

We look forward to seeing you on October 17th at
Old Town Hall.
