TRAFFIC ALERT: Portion of Chain Bridge Road to Be Closed Saturday Morning
See where detours will be in effect before heading downtown Saturday morning.
A detour will be in effect on Chain Bridge Road/Route 123 from 6 to 10 a.m. this Saturday as Verizon performs overhead utility work.
The section of Chain Bridge from Whitehead Street to Kenmore Drive will be closed during this time. Traffic will be detoured to University Drive via Whitehead Street and Kenmore Drive.
University Drive is the recommended alternate north/south route through downtown Fairfax City and for access to Fairfax Boulevard.
