24 Vehicles Tampered, Car Stolen in Fairfax Neighborhood
All of the incidents occurred after 9 p.m. on Feb. 12.
Vehicle owners contacted police in droves Wednesday morning after realizing their unlocked vehicles had been entered. One Carol Street resident found his vehicle missing from the driveway. Items were taken from eight of the 24 cases of vehicle tampering, according to the City of Fairfax Police Department. Police are searching for a 2001 Ford Expedition after it was stolen from a driveway on the 10500 block of Carol Street at around the same time the vehicle tamperings occurred.
