Police Charge Man Who Drove Into Two Fairfax Pedestrians
The pedestrians were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police charged a Gaithersburg man with hitting two pedestrians in Fairfax City last week. David Kwon, 31, struck a 76-year-old Fairfax man and 54-year-old Fairfax woman as they attempted to cross Chain Bridge Road at Fairfax Boulevard at around noon Friday. He was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk. The two pedestrians were taken to Fairfax Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. Kwon was traveling southbound on Chain Bridge Road when he pulled to a stop partially in the crosswalk at a red light, Fairfax City Sgt. Kyle Penman said.
