Greene Turtle a Crowd Pleaser in Downtown Fairfax
The newest addition to Old Town Fairfax appeals to casual diners and sports fans.
Downtown Fairfax, just one block over from Main Street on University Blvd., scored a grand slam with the opening of The Greene Turtle a few weeks ago. The casual, family-friendly sports bar serves up juicy burgers, unique wraps and sandwiches and has an expansive list of beers. It is clearly the place to be when the NBA Playoffs begin to wrap up, or the Nationals continue their impressive winning streak. With 28 “Turtles” open in a three-state area, and one at the Verizon Center in downtown D.C., this location was the first venture into Fairfax (the other ones are located in Leesburg, Arlington, Dulles Towne Center, Hampton and Fredericksburg).
