Police Investigate Hit and Run on Fairfax Boulevard
This is the second Fairfax City hit and run in 2012.
Police are searching for the driver who reportedly struck and killed a man then drove away without helping early Saturday morning. Arlington County Police found a 2010 Jeep Compass they say was used in the crime shortly after James Ralph Davidson, 62, of no fixed address was found dead at the Fairfax City scene. City of Fairfax Police impounded the vehicle. They are now investigating to try to find out who was driving the Jeep during the 1:15 a.m. hit-and-run incident. "An Arlington County Police lieutenant spotted the car immediately after the lookout was given on the basis of information provided by witnesses," said Sgt.
