The festival runs all day Saturday and Sunday.
This year's Chocolate Lovers Festival offers sweet-tooth traditions like the Taste of Chocolate, chocolate chip pancake breakfast, and silent auction. Held in downtown Fairfax Saturday and Sunday, the Chocolate Lovers Festival provides confectioners with an outlet to sell their treats. The 2013 collectible Chocolate Lovers Valentine features a drawing of the old Wayne Feeds Store by Jackie Liedl of Local Color. Warren Brown, founder and owner of Cake Love and Love Cafe in Washington D.C., will judge local cake challenge entries along with Sabrina Campbell of Occasionally Cake in Alexandria, Thomas Prohaska of George Mason University College of Health and Human Services, and Mayor Scott Silverthorne. The annual Chocolate Lovers Festival was held in downtown Fairfax over the weekend.
The Taste of Chocolate allowed local chocolate venders to showcase and sell sweets all weekend long. The event was held at the Old Town Hall building on Sunday afternoon as part of the annual Chocolate Lovers Festival. Enjoy this gallery of some of the delicacies for sale. We know... it's not as good as tasting.
