Serving his second term on city council, Daniel Drummond focuses on economic development and quality of life issues in Fairfax City. He is the council representative for the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments Board of Directors, Transportation Planning Board and Virginia Municipal League finance committee.
He has also been involved in the Economic Development Authority, parks and recreation department's advisory board, 2004 School Bonds Task Force Steering Committee, Barter Theater board of trustees, Virginia Economic Bridge, Fairfax Police Youth Club sports, Fairfax Swimming Pool and Saint Leo the Great Catholic Church.
He, his wife and their three kids live in Green Acres.
