Eastwind established itself in the late 70's as the premier Vietnamese cuisine in Alexandria City. Son ran the front end and family did the (marvelous) cooking in the back. They were a fine, polished, professionally run dining establishment. I have not yet sampled this current Eastwind, but suspect it is derived from the family that operated the Eastwind in Alexandria....worth a try.

East Wind is a great restaurant. The food is really wonderful. I love pho and I find theirs to be particularly delicious. The staff is welcoming, accomodating, and very hard working. They go out of their way to make us comfortable. Sometimes they'll even give us extra munchies if we linger. Visually, it's very appealing on the inside. We love going there, it's a real treat. And I love to give my business to the small business owner.
