If you are musically inclined, you may want to audition for the Voce Chamber Singers. Auditions take place Thursday at Oakton United Methodist Church.

Bargain hunters, take note: The Annandale Women's Club will host its annual fundraising sale Saturday at the United Baptist Church in Annandale. Items include toys, household goods, clothing, and more. 

Calling all bookworms: The Tysons-Pimmit Regional Library kicks off its big two-day book sale starting Saturday at 10 a.m.Choose from 10,000 books, media, and magazines at great prices.

Race Against Crime: The inaugural Fairfax County Crime Solvers 5K takes place bright and early Sunday morning at the Fairfax Corner Shopping Center.  There will be a kids' fun run and a timed 5K. 
Say Bye Bye to Birdie: The Sterling Playmakers present the musical Bye Bye Birdie this weekend at Potomac Falls High School. This classic musical show follows the turbulence brought to Sweet Apple, Ohio, when teen idol Conrad Birdie comes to town in order to kiss one lucky teenage girl before joining the army. This fun show will be sure to have audiences singing along all the way to the happy ending. Tickets are $15 online or at the door. For more info on showtimes,
