Guided Walking Tour of Historic Old Town Fairfax Saturday
90-minute walking tour led by Historic Fairfax City docent.
This Memorial Day weekend offers a little history of Fairfax, with a guided walking tour available Saturday morning.
The tour will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ratcliffe-Allison House, 10386 Main St.
A docent from Historic Fairfax City will lead a 90-minute walking tour of Old Town Fairfax, with stops at the Fairfax County Courthouse (the site of the June 1, 1861 skirmish) and several antebellum homes with a Civil War history.
The fee is $5 for adults and $3 for youth.
