City Council to discuss a number of issues Tuesday night. 
The Fairfax City Council will meet Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. in the Chambers at City Hall, 10455 Armstrong St. On the agenda: drafting Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) with the Fairfax Police Youth Club (FPYC) about donations for new turf fields at Fairfax High School and Lanier Middle School; consideration of allowing Buffalo Wing University to have dancing and live entertainment; awarding of a contract to a new vendor for running the City's traffic lights and red light cameras, and more. Concerts going strong at Patriot Center. Concert season is in full swing at the Patriot Center at George Mason University. This week, Lionel Richie brings his new "All the Hits, All Night Long" tour to the Patriot Center this Wednesday, Sept. 25. Coming up soon are Selena Gomez on Oct. 10, and comedian Aziz Ansari during GMU Family Weekend on Oct. 19, and Disney On Ice opens on Oct. 23. Fairfax County Small Business Forum. Ever thought about opening a business in Fairfax County? This Thursday, Sept. 26, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., come to the Small Business Forum at the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway in Fairfax. Hosted by the Fairfax County Small Business Commission and the Department of Purchasing and Supply Management (DPSM), the Vendor Forum is a free trade show for small businesses, and those that are women-owned and minority-owned. Organizers call it a unique opportunity to network with your peers, obtain helpful information at workshops and browse business-to-business exhibits. Attendees can also obtain valuable insight into Fairfax County Government business and procurement needs and requirements. 5th annual Taste of the Vine to benefit restoration of Historic BlenheimGood wine, good appetizers, and the chance to win fabulous items in the silent auction.
