Drink Up to Save a Pup, Learn About Fall and Winter Garden Survival, and More

A quick snapshot of what's going on this week in Fairfax and nearby.

Drink Up, Save a Pup! That’s the name of the game this Tuesday night, Aug. 20 at the Fairfax Dogfish Head Alehouse, when 15 percent of the day’s tabs benefit HART – Homeless Animals Rescue Teams – for expenses like vaccines, food, animal transport and more. The bartenders have even concocted a special drink – HART of the Dog – just for the occasion. Raffle prizes and live music will also be going on all day, so come on your lunch break, for after-work drinks, or dinner. Dogfish Head Alehouse is located at 13041 Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy. in Fairfax. For more information, click here.
