Our Daily Bread held a golf tournament on Monday to raise much needed money for struggling families in Fairfax County.

Our Daily Bread, a volunteer-based organization focused on easing the plight of low-income residents in Fairfax, held it’s 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament Monday at South Riding Golf Club.  There were players from many corporations including Virginia Commerce Bank, Booz Allen Hamilton, Pepco Holdings and List Innovative Solutions.

The tournament included lunch, a silent auction, golf, dinner, awards and a 50/50 raffle drawing.  Many items were donated for the silent auction such as Washington Wizards tickets, golf at the South Riding Golf Club, massages from At Ease Massage, Washington Nationals tickets and golf lessons.  All proceeds benefit struggling families in the Fairfax County area.

Our Daily Bread provides food, financial assistance and financial education opportunities to working families who are struggling to make ends meet.  The organization also assists with back-to-school supplies and holiday assistance.
