This is the first National Title for a Woodson Crew Team boat since the Women's Junior Single in 2004, and the first ever in an eight-man shell.

Proud parents, coaches, and teammates rallied in the grandstand to cheer on the boys, loudly chanting, “Wood-son, Wood-son, Wood-son,” as the boat crossed the finish line to beat Montclair, T .C. Williams, Holy Spirit, Gonzaga, and St. Joseph’s Prep.
