The 2nd Annual Legacy for Fairfax Charity Golf Tournament is a fundraiser benefitting the new Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center. The Sherwood Community Center was built through the generosity of his widow, Geraldine (Gerry) Sherwood, and dedicated in 2011. Mrs. Sherwood’s gift will provide a legacy to memorialize her late husband, who served the Fairfax community for many years. The golf tournament aids the development and enhancement of the City of Fairfax by contributing to the Legacy for Fairfax program.
The City of Fairfax is grateful for the support from Army Navy Country Club—a major supporter of the community center and the Legacy for Fairfax program.
