American Craft Beer Week Events
Breweries throughout the region will be hosting tap takeovers, tastings, grand openings and other events.
This week will be hopping as local breweries and beer enthusiasts celebrate American Craft Beer Week.
Overall U.S. beer consumption is down, according to USA Today, but the paper notes that the craft beer industry is on the rise, with the Brewers Association estimating $14.3 billion in craft beer sales in 2013.
Hot on the heels of D.C.'s Savor craft beer festival last weekend, local breweries will be offering their own deals and events for American Craft Beer Week.
