  • Nov. 20 Turn In 2011 Federal Impact Aid Survey: Distributed on Nov. 1. Required for every student.
  • Nov. 21-22 PALS Exam
  • Nov. 23 Two-Hour Early Dismissal
  • Nov. 23 Last Day to Donate Used VHS, DVDs: Collection drive in support of literacy. 
  • Nov. 24-25 No School
  • Nov. 30 National Junior Honor Society Meeting, 3 p.m.: Click here for a list of participating students.
  • Nov. 30 Advancement Via Individual Determination Meeting, 7 p.m.: Click here for a description of the program.
  • Dec. 2 Peer Helping Classes, 2 p.m.
  • Dec. 3 Thomas Jefferson Admissions Test: Applications must have been sent in by Oct. 21.

Get Involved
Lanier accepts schools supplies throughout the school year to help needy students. Drop off your five-subject spiral notebooks, 2- and 3-inch three ring binders, pencils and pens and more to the donation box inside the school's Guidance Office.

The PTA needs volunteers to help with an assortment of tasks. Contact volunteer coordinator Dawn Shook at family.shook@gmail.com for more information. The next PTA meeting will be held on Jan. 11.
