PVI Students Celebrate Start of New School Year

Classes started back at PVI Catholic High School this week.

Eileen Kiley, the director of communications and alumni at , shared these pictures of the school's annual summer sizzler with Patch.

"Over 800 people gathered on Wednesday, Aug. 24 on the Paul VI front lawn for their annual back to school Summer Sizzler. A school tradition for many years, this barbeque welcomed new families to the PVI community," Kiley worte in an emailed messaged. "Attendees of all ages enjoyed a moon bounce, balloon animals, hamburgers, hotdogs and was a fun way to say goodbye to summer and hello to another school year."

That's right. Even though Fairfax County Public School students still have one more weekend of freedom, the high schoolers at PVI hit the books this past Wednesday. Welcome back!
