Father Says 6-Year-Old Daughter Was Molested on School Bus

The incident is under investigation by Fairfax County school officials.

A Centreville father told Fairfax County School officials that an older student molested his 6-year-old daughter on a school bus, according to WJLA reports

The father, whom Patch isn't naming to protect the child's identity, said the incident happened just before the Thanksgiving break.

His daughter, who attends Centreville Elementary, was seated next to a 10-year-old boy who allegedly put his hands down her pants and touched her inappropriately, the father said.

The girl told him of the incident as soon as she got off the bus, according to the report. He, in turn, notified the school principal and other school officials who identified the boy.

The father said he is upset the boy was allowed to ride the school bus again with his daughter after the alleged incident, and says he should be banned from the bus.

Fairfax County Public Schools officials said the incident is being investigated.
