What's Open, Closed on President's Day
Fairfax City and County government schedule for Feb. 18.
Here's a quick list of what's closed for President's Day (Feb. 18).
- Fairfax City Government -- Closed.
- County Government – Closed.
- Courts – Closed.
- Public Schools and School Offices – Closed.
- Library – Closed.
- CUE Bus -- Modified weekday schedule. Click here for information.
- Fairfax Connector – Routes with weekday service operate according to the weekday schedule except routes 335, 394, 395, 585, 595, and 597, which will not operate. These routes do not operate when a holiday weekday schedule is in effect.
- Fastran – Not in service.
- Park Authority – RECenters open on regular schedules. Nature centers, historic sites and Green Spring Gardens will be closed. Frying Pan Farm Park will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; visitor center open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Teen and Senior Centers – Closed.
- Community Centers – Closed.
- Fairfax City Trash and Recycling Collection -- No collection. Place items at curb on Tuesday. Call 703-385-7837 for information.
- County Trash and Recycling Collection – Regular collection.
- Recycling and Disposal Facilities at I-66 Transfer Station and I-95 Landfill Complex – Open.
- Fairfax Museum and Visitor Center -- Open.
