Republican Sheriff Nominee Will Donate Salary to Charity if Elected
Fairfax County GOP announced former Fairfax City police officer Bryan Wolfe as their nominee this week.

The Fairfax County Republican Committee has nominated former police officer Bryan “BA” Wolfe as the Republican candidate for Fairfax County Sheriff in the Nov. 5 special election.
The committee reached a decision Tuesday night and is excited to pit Wolfe, who served 26 years in the Fairfax City Police Department before retiring, against Democratic nominee Stacey Kincaid.

While he was an officer in the City of Fairfax Police Department, Wolfe’s peers voted him Policeman of the Year two different times. He has also served four years in the United States Air Force.

If elected, Wolfe has pledged to donate his salary to charity, according to a release.
"Our Sheriffs serve our community well, and they deserve someone who has a passion for service and not a continuation of the establishment bureaucracy that has failed for years to provide the type of leadership needed,” said Jay McConville, chair of the Fairfax County Republican Committee.

The race between Wolfe and Kincaid was ignited when former Sheriff Stan Barry announced he was retiring in July.
Kincaid has served in the sheriff’s office since 1987 and won the Democratic nod against acting Sheriff Mark Sites in a caucus last month.See also: Fairfax County To Swear In Interim Sheriff
