Public Can Speak Out on Downtown Development Tonight

What do you want done with Kitty Pozer Garden and George Mason Square.

The City Council will hold a public hearing tonight to get feedback on how to redevelop George Mason Square and expand Kitty Pozer Garden. The project is possible with $2.4 million left over from a bond issued for the construction of the new City of Fairfax Regional Library.

Fairfax City staffers have prepared four new alternative design concepts for the public to consider based on comments by residents and business owners at a Dec. 6 meeting. These will be discussed at the Jan. 10 meeting in City Hall at 7 p.m.
