On the Agenda: Dancing, Mother/Son Campout, Red Light Cameras
What's on the agenda for Tuesday's council meeting.
Tonight's council meeting will tackle dancing at Red Zone Grill, red light cameras, a new mother/son campout and a bridge on Chain Bridge Road.
Council members will:
- Hear from the public on whether to let Red Zone Grill have dancing and live entertainment.
- Discuss updates on the latest design plans for the Chain Bridge Road bridge at Kenmore Drive. Construction is planned to start in winter 2013 and end summer 2014.
- Talk about a new Fall Festival route, enhancements to the Festival of Lights and Carols and a new Mother/Son Campout event.
- Consider expanding the city's red light enforcement program. Currently there are four red light cameras at intersections in the city. Virginia Code allows up to 10.
