On the Agenda: Dancing at Restaurants, CIP, New Development

What's on the agenda for Tuesday's council meeting.

Tonight's city council meeting will bring up dancing at two Fairfax City restaurants, recommendations for the 2014 CIP, and a new development off Jermantown Road.

Council members will discuss:

  • Planning commission recommendations for $46,081,830 in proposed capital improvement programs.
  • Whether to allow a developer to build 15 single family homes at Jermantown Road and Carol Street. The proposed development, called Avery Park would go on three occupied residential lots and one vacant lot.
  • Request to have dancing and live entertainment at Buffalo Wing University.
  • Whether to let Red Zone Grill have dancing and live entertainment.
