Southeast Fairfax Citizens Association thanks mayor for his service.

On behalf of the citizens of the Southeast Fairfax Citizens Association (SEFCA), I would like to thank Mayor Rob Lederer for his years of service to the City of Fairfax.  SEFCA has appreciated the many hours that he dedicated to make our City a great place to live.

His leadership has made it possible for successful bricks and mortar projects such as the redevelopment of Old Town Fairfax and the building of our new City regional library.  His guidance has made possible our City’s AAA bond rating and the receipt of the Gold Medal Award from the National Recreation and Parks Association.  His efforts have made it possible for our City to be named as the third best place to live in the United States by Forbes magazine.

We know that Mayor Lederer’s first home in the City of Fairfax was in our southeast community. We have appreciated all his work on our behalf to keep our community a livable neighborhood, balancing growth and maintaining quality of life.

We extend our very best wishes to Mayor Lederer and his family.
