How to Get Tickets to Obama's Friday Appearance at GMU

The president comes to campus Oct. 19 -- here's how to get a seat.

Residents and students who want to attend President Barack Obama's grassroots event Friday at George Mason University must secure their tickets in advance.

The event is free and open to the public, but citizens must click here to request one online. The ticket will be sent via email.

  • You can bring your camera to the event, but try to keep belongings to a minimum. 
  • No signs or banners will be allowed inside the building.
  • You can also pick up a ticket in person at the OFA-VA Fairfax City Field Office at 11215-P Lee Hwy or in Johnson Center Room 116 (GMU students and faculty).
  • Only two tickets allowed per customer. You must provide the name and contact information for the second person attending the event.
