Fairfax County Police told media Thursday night the arrest in Vanessa Pham's murder was a result of new forensic evidence discovered within the last week.
Acting Chief Lt. Col. James A. Morris was unwilling to talk about nature of the evidence or what may have happened to Pham on the day she was killed, saying that the case is still too new to comment.
