Twinbrook Baskin Robbins Robbed

The suspect displayed a knife and demanded money from the cash register.

A 20-year-old man was robbed while working behind the counter of the Twinbrook Plaza Baskin Robbins, 9547 Braddock Road, on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at about 7:42 p.m., reported . 

The suspect displayed a knife and demanded money from the cash register. The victim complied and the suspect fled.

Following the robbery, there was heavy police activity in the area, including the Fairfax County Police Helicopter, reported area residents.

The suspect was described as white, in his late teens, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 140 to 160 pounds. He was wearing a black, zip-front, hooded sweater.

This is the second piece of bad news to hit the Twinbrook Baskin Robbins. In October, storeowner . He was 56. The retired Army Major was buried in Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors.
