Three More Victims Of Serial Butt Stabber Step Forward

Women report a March incident in Tysons Corner, two more at Fair Oaks Mall in February

Fairfax County Police say three more women have reported butt stabbing incidents related

There are now nine total cases police believe are linked to the same suspect.

One of the newly reported incidents occurred March 11 at the H+M in Tysons Corner Center. The other two ocurred at the Fair Oaks Mall, one of them at the Forever 21, in February.

FCPD Spokeswoman Lucy Caldwell said the department is keeping a list of incidents on the department's homepage to keep residents informed as new cases arise, similar to the running tally last summer of

"We want to keep this out there and hopefully people pay attention and continue to be on the lookout," Caldwell said.

  • February 14, Fair Oaks Mall, near Champps

The suspect is described as hispanic, late 20’s, around 5 feet 6 inches tall and heavy-set. He wore white shorts and a short-sleeved shirt in the July 25 assault.
