Police: Woman Throws a Fit in McD's Parking Lot, Police Cruiser Hit and Run

Latest crime news:

  • Hit and Run Arrest, 10940 Fairfax Blvd. Parking Lot: Meredyth M. Lowe, 24, of Falls Church was arrested for allegedly driving her car into a parked police cruiser and leaving the scene at 9:14 p.m. Aug. 23. She was charged with hit and run to unattended property. 
  • Vandalism, : A woman screamed and cursed at a man and his friend in the Pickett Road McDonald's parking lot at at around 1:30 a.m. on Aug. 23. The two men were sitting in their parked vehicle as the woman yelled at them. She then threw sticks at the vehicle, denting it.
  • Larceny, Kamp Washington Shopping Center Parking Lot: Someone(s) broke into a parked vehicle and stole a laptop, three music pedals, guitar cables and two backpacks sometime after 6:50 p.m. on Aug. 16. 
  • Vandalism, Main Street / Stonewall Avenue: Someone(s) threw a newspaper rack at the CUE bus stop and cracked a glass panel sometime after 10 p.m. on Aug. 22. 
  • Burglary, 9498 Fairfax Boulevard: Someone(s) gained access to the building's boiler room and stole a clock, phone, food and a pair of shoes sometime after 6 p.m. on Aug. 21. 
  • Larceny, : Someone(s) stole cash from a purse stored in an unlocked classroom cabinet sometime between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 21.
