Police: Tire Pulled Off Car in Main Street Parking Lot

Car left leaning on pavement, according to Fairfax City Police.

A woman was walking to her car after midnight Sunday morning to find someone had stolen one of her tires, according to Fairfax City Police.

She told officers that a wheel and tire had been pulled off the car sometime after 5 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot at 10440 Main Street.

According to police, the car was left resting on the pavement.

On April 4 at 3:07 PM the residents reported that on April 3 they had received a telephone call from a female subject claiming to be their youngest granddaughter stating she had been arrested and needed them to send money for her bail, which was confirmed by a second female subject who claimed she worked in the bail bond office. The victims sent money cards as directed, and then were contacted to send more money because the bail amount purportedly had been raised. Subsequently, the victims learned that the granddaughter was at home with her mother. 


Vandalism, 14-05978, 3900 Block of Wilcoxson Drive  

On April at 9:48 PM the vehicle owner’s wife reported that sometime after 8:45 PM unknown person(s) had broken a window on the parked vehicle.
