Police: Suzuki Stolen From Blue Coat Drive, Soccer Player Kicked

A soccer player kicked another in the ribs. Someone stole a Suzuki Esteem on Blue Coat Drive. This and more in the latest Fairfax City crime news.

  • Assault, 3300 Block of Stafford Drive: A 40-year-old Herndon man said he was attacked by another soccer player after an argument Sunday morning. The player kicked him in the side, bruising his ribs.  
  • Larceny, : Someone(s) stole a wallet containing cash, credit cards and identification from a purse Tuesday afternoon. The victim said the wallet was taken while she wore her purse open on her shoulder.

  • Credit Card Fraud, 3400 Block of Preservation Drive: Someone(s) used a Preservation Drive resident's credit card to make an unauthorized online purchase on April 3.
  • Bad Check, End of Roll, Inc on Lee Highway: A warrant has been issued for a contractor who failed to pay End of Roll. The contractor paid with a check on Jan. 26. That check bounced and the business was unable to get ahold of the contractor. 
  • Fraud, 4200 Block of Collier Road: A Collier Road resident received money orders for items he had sold online on March 23. The money orders were for amounts far more than the buyer had asked for. The buyer requested he cash the money orders and send the excess money to a United Kingdom address. He did. The money orders turned out to be fakes.
  • Vandalism, : Someone(s) spray painted graffiti on the inside of a wooden door in a shed near PVI's baseball field. An officer went to take a look at the graffiti on April 7. 
  • Shoplifting, : A store manager saw a woman liberate a box of perfume from its wrapping and hiding it in her sweatshirt on April 7. She left without paying. 
  • Vandalism, 9900 Block of Duncan Street: Someone(s) spray painted graffiti on a direction arrow sign. Officer saw the graffiti on April 7.
  • Larceny, 3100 Block of Flintlock Road / 10000 Block of Mosby Woods Drive: Someone(s) broke into two parked vehicles in the early morning hours of April 8. They took center dash consoles from both vehicles. One of the vehicles was also missing a pair of sunglasses and leather gloves.
  • Stolen Vehicle, 10000 Block of Blue Coat Drive: Someone(s) stole a 2001 Suzuki Esteem between 12:30-7 a.m. on April 8. The car was parked on the street and contained cash, electronics, tools, clothing, medications and checks.
  • Larceny, 11100 Block of Snug Haven Lane: Someone(s) stole a mountain bike from the rear patio of a townhouse sometime between noon and 1 p.m. on April 2.
