Police Search for Fairfax Teen

Arria Washington was last seen with her two friends near the Tysons Corner Mall after reportedly fleeing a McLean group home.

Fairfax County police are searching for Arria Washington, 16, of Fairfax, and two other juvenile residents of a group home in McLean who reportedly ran away on Monday.

Lucy Caldwell, public information officer for FCPD, told Patch on Friday that Arria and the two other girls, whose names have not been confirmed, were reported missing earlier this week.

The three girls were last seen in the area of the Tysons Corner Mall, and were believed to have been heading into the D.C. or Maryland area.

Arria is 16 years old, born in November of 1996. She is described as black with a medium complexion, standing at 5-foot-3 and 120 pounds. She has shoulder-length hair, hazel eyes and braces. See picture at right.

Caldwell said a report has been filed and the police will follow up on any leads as to the girls' whereabouts.
