Police: Pushy Shoplifter, FBI Scam

The following incident and arrest information was supplied by the City of Fairfax Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Latest crime news:

• Shoplifting/Assault, CVS Pharmacy (Main Street): A male customer tried to leave the CVS with merchandise hidden in his jacket at around 11 a.m. Jan. 30. When stopped by an employee, the customer shoved his confronter and ran off. Police identified the suspect and obtained warrants for felony petit larceny and third (or subsequent) offense in assault and battery. Warrant service is pending. The CVS employee was not injured.
• Shoplifting Arrest, K-Mart: Sandro Renato Salas Guilen, 19, and Bryan Villalobos, 18, both of Alexandria were arrested for allegedly attempting to steal merchandise from the K-Mart on Jan. 30. A security officer stopped them and held them for police. Both were charged with petit larceny and providing false identification. 
• Computer Fraud, 10500 Block of Assembly Drive: Someone(s) told an Assembly Drive man they represented the FBI and locked his computer unless he paid a fee by cash card online for it to be unlocked on Jan. 23. The man paid the money and found that his computer was still locked. The FBI later told him that they did not lock his computer and he had been victimized.
• Shoplifting Arrest, 7-Eleven (Fairfax Boulevard): Dennis Lee Dickens, 53, of Reston was arrested for leaving the store with a bottle of beer in his pocket. Police found Dickens at around 3 p.m. Jan. 31 and charged him with felony petit larceny, third (or subsequent) offense.
