Police: More Annoying Phone Calls, Shoplifting Arrest at Marshalls

The latest in Fairfax City news.

The following incident and arrest information was supplied by the City of Fairfax Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Latest crime news:

  • Shoplifting Arrest, Marshalls: Anna Miskinyants, 84, of Santayana Drive  was arrested for allegedly trying to leave Marshalls with several store items hidden in her purse. She was detained by a security guard at 2:22 p.m. Dec. 4. Miskinyants was charged with petit larceny. 
  • Annoying Phone Calls, Livesay & Myers PC (University Drive): Police are looking for an unknown male who has been repeatedly calling the business since Nov. 29. 
  • Shoplifting, 7-Eleven: An employee witnessed an unknown woman hide packs of batteries in her jacket pocket and leave the store without paying at around 7:30 p.m. Dec. 8.
  • Larceny, Jersey Mike’s: Someone(s) stole an employee's cell phone from the counter sometime between 3-4 p.m. on Dec. 8.
