Police: Former Ziebart Employee Assaults Manager, Laptop Thief Uses Open Sunroof

  • Larceny, 4031 University Dr.: Someone(s) took a bottle of prescription medication from an office desk sometime between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Aug. 20.
  • Vandalism, Old Lee Highway / Old Post Road: Someone(s) threw an egg at a man's windshield as he was driving on Old Lee Highway near Old Post Road at around 10 a.m. on Aug. 20. 
  • Unlawful entry, 10100 Block of Mosby Woods Drive: Someone(s) removed a window screen and entered a home on Mosby Woods Drive on Aug. 16. Nothing was taken from the home.
  • Larceny, : Someone(s) stole a bag of clothing while its owner was using one of the public computers at around 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 16. 
  • Assault, : Joseph Bevel Coe, II. 28, of Reston was arrested for allegedly assaulting Ziebart employees on Aug. 18. Coe allegedly pushed a manager and another employee, and broke a telephone wall mount on his way out of the business. He was charged with two counts of assault and battery and with destruction of property.
  • Larceny, 9797 Beech Drive / Draper Drive Park: Someone(s) climbed through a parked car's open sunroof, opened the trunk and stole a laptop sometime after 11:40 a.m. on Aug. 18.
