Police: Embezzlement, Price Altering, Shoplifting Arrests

The latest Fairfax City crime news.

The following incident and arrest information was supplied by the City of Fairfax Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Latest crime news:

  • Larceny, 7-Eleven Parking Lot (Jermantown): Someone(s) stole a wallet from an unlocked vehicle sometime between 6:30-6:45 p.m. Dec. 11. The card was later used to make an unauthorized purchase.
  • Embezzlement Arrest, Auto Zone: Kenneth Wayne Kirby, 33, of Chantilly was arrested on Dec 3 for allegedly stealing merchandise from the store and reselling them for personal profit.
  • Price Altering Arrest, Home Depot: Joseph Ray Davies, 39, of Falls Church was arrested on Dec. 13 for allegedly switching price tags on merchandise and then purchasing the cheaper goods.
  • Shoplifting Arrest, K-Mart: Carrie Taylor, 24, of Kingsbridge Drive was arrested on Dec. 13 for allegedly hiding merchandise in her purse and leaving the store without paying for them.
