Police Blotter: Sept. 2

The following arrest information was supplied by the City of Fairfax Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Vandalism

  • Sept. 1, 8:08 a.m. A resident of the 10800 Block of Woodhaven Drive reported that two dark-colored liquids had been splattered on the front of the house by an unknown person.
  • Sept. 2, 2:01 p.m. A resident of the 3800 Block of University Drive reported that a rock had been thrown into a brick wall around her yard and had loosened an attached fence. The resident reported a group of juveniles in the vicinity at the time of the incident.

Bad Check Arrest

  • Fort Washington, Md. resident Donahue Marion Macko, 48, was arrested by Prince George's County Police on Aug. 23 in connection with a bad check that was issued to Ted Britt Ford earlier this summer. According to the daily police bulletin issued by the Fairfax City Police Department, "Macko was charged with presenting a check to the dealership drawn on a closed bank account. Macko waived extradition and was transported by City of Fairfax Police officers from Prince George’s County to the Fairfax Adult Detention Center where he was ordered held on $2000 bond."
