Police: Assault on Officer, Unlawful Entry, More Arrests

The following incident and arrest information was supplied by the City of Fairfax Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Latest crime news:

  • Shoplifting Arrest, K-Mart: Norlina Gross, 50, of Reston was arrested for allegedly attempting to steal store merchandise at around 5:30 p.m. Dec, 21. She was charged with larceny third, or subsequent, offense.
  • Shoplifting Arrest, TJ Maxx: Veronica Parada, 35, of Arrit Court was arrested for allegedly attempting to steal store merchandise at around 9 p.m. Dec. 21. She was charged with felony grand larceny.
  • Assault on Officer Arrest, Foxcroft Colony Condominiums: Glen Carl Allen, 50, of Fairfax Boulevard was arrested for allegedly assaulting an officer. Police came to the condos on report of a possible domestic dispute. They attempted to take Allen into custody when he resisted and fought off an officer at around 7:20 p.m. Dec. 23. He was charged with assault on a law enforcement officer. The officer sustained a minor injury and did not need medical treatment. 
  • Unlawful Entry Arrest, 10900 Block of Byrd Drive: Anton Michael Burns, 20, of West Drive and Kristen Ann Runkle, 21, of Manassas were arrested for allegedly attempting to burglarize a Byrd Drive home. Officers found Burns and Runkle in the backyard of the residence at around 12:30 a.m. Dec. 24. An investigation suggested they had been trying to enter the home. Both were charged with unlawful entry.
