Police: Arrests Made at Shoppers, DarCars

The following incident and arrest information was supplied by the City of Fairfax Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Latest crime news:

  • Shoplifting, Shoppers Food Warehouse: A male customer loaded a shopping cart with grocery merchandise and left without paying on Nov. 30 at around 11:40 a.m.
  • Identity Fraud, DarCars: Jonathan Ruben Cruz, 27, of Manassas was arrested for allegedly giving false identification on Nov. 30 at 5:07 p.m.. Cruz was wanted by Arlington County. City of Fairfax Police charged him with using false identification to avoid summons, arrest or prosecution. Cruz was held at the Adult Detention Center without bond.
  • Shoplifting, Safeway: Elnathan Browne, 39, of Colony Park Drive was arrested Dec. 1 after allegedly leaving Safeway with store merchandise hidden in his jacket pocket. He was charged with felony petit larceny third offense.
  • Larceny, Patriot Harley Davidson: Someone(s) broke a window in a vehicle parked at the Harley Davidson shop and stole the vehicle owner's purse sometime after 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 2. The purse contained cash and a credit card.
