Masked Man Grabs Cash from Main Street Restaurant

No one was injured.

Fairfax City Police are looking for the masked man who robbed a Main Street restaurant with a handgun Monday night.

The man went inside at about 8:50 p.m. Monday and threatened the cashier with a handgun. He demanded money and took it upon himself to try to pry open the cash register, to no avail. Instead, he ordered an employee to open the register and ran out with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to Sgt. Joe Johnson of the City of Fairfax Police Department. He was last seen running toward Tedrich Boulevard.
