Man Arrested After Allegedly Stabbing His Roommate, Woman Suspected in Lactation Larcency

Police activity from Sept. 1-11.

Fairfax City Police arrested a man for allegedly stabbing his roommate and investigated an apparent theft of a breast pump last week. 

Incident details:

  • Home on 3800 Block of Chain Bridge Road: Someone(s) shattered the glass front door of the residence by throwing an unknown object at it. September 1, between 7-8 p.m.
  • Home on 10200 Block of Stratford Avenue: Vehicle owner reported that unknown person(s) bent her front license plate and pushed it away from her vehicle's bumper. Her vehicle was parked in the driveway of her residence at the time. September 9, between 3:30-8:45 p.m.
  • NOVA Lactation Center, 4250 Chain Bridge Road: Owner reported that a woman had rented a breast pump in February and failed to return it or pay accruing monthly rental fees. Reported at 10:42 a.m. September 9.
  • Home on 3800 Block of University Drive: Homeowner reported that a key to his residence, which is being renovated, was taken by somone(s) along with the lockbox containing the key and a larger container in which it was kept. September 8, between 5 p.m. and noon the next day.
  • Home on 3600 Block of Colony Road: Someone(s) broke the basement window of the residence. September 9, between 2-4 p.m.
  • Parking lot on 9900 Block of Main Street: Vehicle owner tells police someone(s) stole a GPS unit from her unlocked parked vehicle. September 8 between 7-8 p.m.
  • 10400 Block of Cleveland Street: Vehicle owner reported that unknown person(s) dented the roof and hood of his parked vehicle by walking on it. September 10, sometime between 1 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
  • Ruby Tuesday, 9444 Fairfax Boulevard: Manager reported three male subjects who left the restaurant without paying for their bar bill. One of the suspects has been identified. Warrant srvice is pending. September 11, around noon.
  • Foxcroft Colony Condominiums, 9400 Block of Fairfax Boulevard: Police responded to a report of a bleeding male subject stumbling around outside the building. The 43-year-old man had been stabbed by a roommate. Robert E. Miller, 63, of Fairfax Boulevard, was arrested at the scene. He was transported to the Adult Detention Center, charged with malicious wounding and ordered held without bond. The victim was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital for treatment of injuries that did not appear life-threatening. September 11, around 3:30 p.m.
  • Draper Drive Park, 9797 Beech Drive / Draper Drive Park: Unknown person(s) stole a book bag which had been left near the soccer field. The book bag contained a cell phone, clothing and a wallet containing cash, credit cards and identification. September 11, around 8:40 p.m.
