Help ID Suspect Who Broke Into ATM

The suspect stole cash from a Fairfax Station ATM.

Police are asking for help in identifying a suspect who broke into and stole cash from a Fairfax Station ATM early Monday morning.

A 61-year-old man reported a stong smell of something burning when he went to use the ATM at 5622 Ox Road on Monday, according to Fairfax County Police. When police and firefighters responded to the scene they found a hole cut in the drywall behind the ATM machine. It appeared as though someone had forced their way into the ATM and stole an undisclosed amount of cash from inside the machine at around 4:28 a.m.
