9800 Block of Fairfax Square / Fairfax Square Apartments – On February 24 at 2:09 PM the vehicle owner reported that unknown person(s) had scratched the paint on her parked vehicle. 

Larceny

4315 Chain Bridge Road / Commonwealth Care Center – On February 24 at 6:18 PM an employee reported that a resident had complained that sometime after December 1 unknown person(s) had taken money from her purse in her room.

4200 Block of Ardmore Place – On February 25 at 11:37 AM officers responded to investigate a report of suspicious persons at a residence. During the course of the investigation the female subject repeatedly provided false identifying information to officers and was found to be in the company of a 15 year old male subject. As the result of extensive investigation by City of Fairfax Police, the identity of the female subject was established and it was determined that there was a warrant for her arrest from the City of Baltimore. Sue Ann Bosley, 30, of no fixed address, was taken into custody and transported to the Adult Detention Center where she was charged with contributing to the delinquency of minor and providing false information to law enforcement and ordered held on a $5000 bond. It was also determined that there was an outstanding warrant from Anne Arundel County for the 15 year old male subject and he was transported to the Juvenile Detention Center where he was being held as a fugitive from justice. 

Brandishing Weapon

Ardmore Place / Ashby Place – On February 21 at 8:11 PM the victim reported that the unknown male driver of a vehicle which had cut him off followed the victim to his residence, displayed what appeared to be a handgun, and threatened to shoot him, then drove away as the victim was calling police. The Patrol Division is investigating the case.

10390 Fairfax Boulevard / Direct Furniture – On February 22 at 12:04 PM the manager reported that on February 16 a female subject had purchased furniture and paid for it with a check which subsequently had been returned due to insufficient funds in the account. 

Shoplifting Arrest

9640 Main Street / Marshalls – On February 22 at 3:55 PM a security officer reported that he had observed a female subject conceal several items of merchandise in her purse and leave the store without paying for them, at which point she was detained. Cherrelle Gina Hughes, 25, of 8988 Cherry Lane, Laurel, Maryland, was taken into custody and transported to the Adult Detention Center where she was charged with grand larceny and her bond was set at $2500.

11000 Block of Westmore Drive – On February 22 at 11:34 PM the resident reported that sometime after 6:00 PM unknown person(s) had spray painted several letters across the end of his driveway.

9650 Main Street / Fair City Mall Parking Lot – On February 23 at 7:46 PM the vehicle owner reported that sometime between 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM unknown person(s) had stolen a laptop computer from her parked vehicle.
