Chase Ends in Five Trespassing Arrests at Historic Blenheim

Plus, car windows smashed in daily crime bulletin from Fairfax City Police.

Five young men, including one minor, have been charged with trespassing in a weekend incident near Historic Blenheim, according to the Fairfax City Police.

At 2:51 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to the 3400 block of Brookwood Drive regarding suspicious vehicles parked in the neighborhood. According to police, the officers spotted a group of subject who then fled by jumping over several fences. 

They were located attempting to hide in the woods on the Blenheim property, according to police, and all were taken into custody.

Four adults, three 18 years old and one 22 years old, were charged with trespassing and drunk in public. Bond was set at $1,000. A 17-year-old male was charged with trespassing and released to his mother's custody.

Larceny: 3850 University Drive / Parking Garage – On May 9 at7:08 AM the vehicle owner reported that sometime after 1:00 AM unknown person(s) had broken the rear window on her parked vehicle. 

Larceny: 4031 University Drive / George Mason Enterprise Center – On May 9 at 2:17 PM a manager reported that on May 1 unknown person(s) had entered an office and taken several key fobs from a lockbox. 

Vandalism:10200 Block of Rodgers Road – On May 10 at 10:28 AM the vehicle owner reported that sometime after 7:00 PM on May 9 unknown person(s) had attempted to remove a signal light from his vehicle which was parked in the driveway of his residence. 

Larceny: Main Street / University Drive – On May 11 at 10:50 AM the victim reported that on May 10 unknown person(s) had taken his wallet which apparently had fallen to the floor of a CUE bus while he was riding it. The wallet contained identification and a debit card which had subsequently been used to make unauthorized purchases. 

Vandalism: 10200 Block of Rodgers Road – On May 11 at 12:20 PM the vehicle owner reported that sometime after 10:30 PM on May 10 unknown person(s) had broken the rear window on his vehicle parked in front of his residence.
