A fire broke out after a vehicle hit a transformer and flipped over along Lee Highway in front of Wednesday night. The incident cut power to surrounding apartments.

Fire rescue personnel put out the fire about 20 minutes after the incident occurred shortly before midnight. The scene attracted a crowd of bystanders from the nearby grocery store and rental units.

Freelancer Andrew Knight, who was on the scene at the time of the crash, reports that there seem to be no major injuries.
