Over 305,000 hungry kids … Virginia can do better!

Like most of you, I start my day with breakfast – my mom always told me it was the most important meal of the day. But for about 305,000 children in Virginia, this isn’t a possibility. These kids start their days off hungry.

Can you imagine trying to learn in school with a growling stomach? Free or reduced school breakfast programs are an effective way to help hungry kids to feel better and learn more in school.
