Local citizen harassing FCPS Band Programs.

A local Fairfax County resident has been sending FOIA requests, sometimes multiple requests every week to the Fairfax County School System for almost a year, now.  Specifically, these harassing requests have been to solicit financial information from the high school band programs throughout the county.  Each request, often a duplicate from the previous week, has to be formally answered by the teacher that direct these programs, thereby taking them away from their instructional planning and duties on behalf of the kids.  This targeting via Freedom of Information requests is not something the school can resist but rather must comply with, at a cost in resources and time when budgets are already tight and workloads are heavy.   Perhaps your paper would like to find out what this lady wants and shed some light on the abuse to which she is subjecting our school system.
